He is survived by: his children, John Jr. and Katherine (Trevor Rawlik); his siblings, Marguerite Maggs-Fitzgerald, Barbara Maggs and James Maggs; his siblings-in-law, Heidi, Stephen and Julie Maggs; his aunt Anne Rita Himebaugh; his sister Wordle; and also Michael.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in John's memory to Marianne Maggs in order to establish the John D. Maggs Foundation for Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection, 457r.
