He is survived by: his wife Matina; his children, Peter Mavrookas, Dino Mavrookas, Louie Mavrookas, Stella Kolb, Kateina Ganiaris and Fay Gianaris; and his sisters, Georgia Papageorgiou and Pota Komini. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
