It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher M. Papa Md of Colts Neck, New Jersey, who passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Anthony; his sister Constance; his former spouse Claire Siegel; his child Andrea; his grandson Zachary; his brothers, Wilmar and Edison; and his wife Regina.

During these years, he started an Institutional Review Board, served as editor to state medical journals, as well as one that he founded, and was also active in American Cancer Society Volunteer Programs.

“I was very sorry to learn today that Chris had passed in the spring, just 15 days after I last corresponded with him. He was a wonderful mentor to me as a began my career as a dermatologist. He encouraged and guided me to teach and present lectures, and often imparted pearls of wisdom that I continue to pass on to patients and students. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a terrific rhyming wit. He remains an inspiration as someone who loved his wife dearly and held dear his many passions.”
