It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Tarrant of Colonia, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on April 9, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Tarrant and Antoinette Tarrant. He is survived by: his brothers, Tom (Mary Fran), Dan (Mary) and Mark (Molly). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Bob fulfilled his mother's wish to live her final years at home as she progressed through Alzheimer's disease from 1996 to 2002. Donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Cecelia Church, 45 Wilus Way, Iselin, NJ 08830.

“i am so very sorry for your loss and I wish I could offer you something more than just these words to ease your pain at losing him. I've know Bob for several years having taught with him many times. He was a really great person, always a gentleman, many times refusing to let me carry anything heavy, always willing to help me in any way. He was an excellent instructor and a pleasure to work with. I shall miss him very much. You truely earned your wings my friend. RIP Bob. Phyllis Smith”
