Robert J Bodnar Obituary

We bid farewell to Robert J Bodnar of Colonia, New Jersey, born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 22, 2025 at the age of 77. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bodnar and Helen Bodnar; and his brothers, John and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Ursula Ciardiello Bodnar; his children, Daniel Bodnar and Jennie Piperi (Brian); his grandchildren, Sean, Amber and Kyle; his sister Helen Derasmo; his sisters-in-law, Maria Ciardiello, Patricia Bodnar and Rose Anne Bodnar; and his nephew Shayne Bodnar.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Andrew's R. C. Church (244 Avenel St, Avenel, NJ 07001). A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
