Norbert Mertens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2023, at the age of 74, Norbert Mertens of Colonia, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Conrad Mertens and Ruth Mertens (Schommer); his wife Helen Mertens (Trotter); his children, Lisa Sandt (Al), Elizabeth Mertens (Eric Zotynia) and Ralph Talarico (Kristen); his grandchildren, Joey, Logan, Gage, Bailey, Cooper, Parker, Kyle, Joshua of Rylee, RJ, Jake and Matthew; and his brother Kurt Mertens (Ellen). He was also cherished by 8 great grandchildren.
