She was predeceased by: her brother Pasquale Vertorano. She is survived by: her children, Charles Zekeres (Candace) and Gina Sabine; her grandchildren, Nyasia Nichols, Destiny Nichols, Krysteen Zekeres, Amiya Abdullah, Eric Boynton and Ryan Boynton; and her sisters, Anna Marie Coleman and Rita Avery.
