It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonell Elveter Harris in Colonia, New Jersey, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Brown and Margie Ray Brown; her husband Zachary Harris; and her aunt Ella. She is survived by: her son Richard D'lyane Harris, Sr. (Lolita); her grandchildren, Diamond Harris, Daivon Ellison, Laila Halsey and Richard Harris Jr.; her great grandchildren, Genesis Harris and Quincy Ellison; her grandchildren, Joey Grubbs, Tyesha Boyd, Marcus Grubbs and Ashley Grubbs; her aunt Fredine Patterson; and her children, Quan, Faith, Michael, Man, Esau, Antonio, Jerrod, Josh, Ebony and Missy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests potted plants in honor of Jonell's deep love for nature.
