He was predeceased by: his sister Florence Dolton. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Novak (Costello); his children, Nicole Burns (Christopher), Catherine Psemeneki, Jennifer Bonanno (Biagio), John J. Novak, Jr. (Claudia), Tracy DelVecchio (Joseph) and Donna Addeo (William); and his grandchildren, Christian, Riley, Alex, Emma, Cole, Ava, Biagio, Isabella, Mateo, Liliana and Logan.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066).
