It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Martha Pignataro of Colonia, New Jersey, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Krampitz and John Louis Hergert (Louie). She is survived by: her husband James D. Pignataro; her children, Jamie Hovick (Phil), James Pignataro, Jr. (Carol), Joan Sitler (Edward) and John Pignataro (Debra); her grandchildren, Julianne, Justin, James, Joseph and Jennifer; and her sister Martha Lou Dudar. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (559 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1137 N Broad St, Hillside, NJ 07205).
