It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick J. Harris (Colonia, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on February 21, 2018, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Baumann Harris; his sons, Patrick Harris (Christine) of Matawan, Daniel Harris of Colonia and Michael Harris of Colonia; and his sister Cheryl Lye of Toms River.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org), 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Fred's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.

“No one from my brother's family contacted me [his sister] or my mother [Elizabeth Harris] to tell us that my brother was ill or had died. I was shocked today [August 13 2019] to see his obituary. His mother and I tried to reach his home by phone numerous times over 10+ years, but we only spoke to an answering machine. No calls were ever returned. Whatever anger held my brother away from his mother and I will always be regretted. I loved my brother and never had a chance to say goodbye.”
