She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Burke (NJ); her parents, Curtis Hampton and Helen Hampton; and her siblings, Paul, Rosemary, Richard, Gerard and Charles.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Ernst of Colonia, John H. Burke (Ann Marie) of Monroe Twp, Beth Della Sala (John) of Freehold, Michael Burke of Point Pleasant and Robert Burke (Rebecca) of Westfield; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Christina, Kayleigh, Matthew, Russell, Connor, Alec, Tyler and Emily; her brother Robert Hampton; and her close friend Agnes Larkin.
