Mehmet Sr. of Collingswood, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Achmet Mehmet and Gillie Tittle; and his wife Edna H. Mehmet of Alzheimer's Disease. He is survived by : his children, Robert E. Mehmet Jr. (Bernadette) and Joyce Johnson (Doug); his grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson (Cara), Robert Mehmet III (Dominique), Lisa Wilkens (Thomas), Keith Johnson, Daniel Mehmet (Jill), Brian Mehmet (Gina) and Philip Mehmet; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Collin, Robert IV, Kelsey, Camryn, Isaac, Hannah, Gabriel, Aidan, Tyler, Sofia, Owen, Chad, Noah and Mikayla.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (124 Kings Hwy E, Haddonfield, NJ 08033). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Locustwood Memorial Park (1500 Rte 70 W, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002).
