He is survived by: his wife Pamela P. Smarro; his children, Jennifer Smarro Gibbons (Ryan) and Douglas (Courtney); his grandchildren, Alexander, Enzo and Emma Marie; his brother Steven (Pamela E.); his niece Margaret Cooke (Chris); his nephew Anthony Palmer; and his great-niece Elizabeth Cooke.
