She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Alloway (Bill) and James Hillwig (Mabel); and her brother Bob. She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Flamini, Jeanette Hotz and Shannon Long; her grandchildren, Jordan, Jared, Jason, Matthew, Abigail and Peter; her brothers, Charles (Ginny), Jim (Bonnie) and Rick (Helene); and her nephew Laurel Ave.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to CatNook Cafe (a non profit cat rescue) in Alma's name, continuing her legacy of compassion for cat adoption.
