She was predeceased by: her father John "Jack" Fitzgerald; her husband Joe; her granddaughter Sophie Ballard; her siblings, Elizabeth Grisolia, Kathleen Thompson and Brother Brendan Fitzgerald; and her siblings-in-law, Rose Nigro and Nicholas Nigro.
She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth Fitzgerald (Lappin); her children, Felicia Ballard, Virginia Mickolajczyk (Paul), Joseph Nigro (Megan), John Nigro (Wendy) and Beth Nigro (Steve Wilson); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Alex), Christopher Connelly, Phoebe, Luke, Jake Ballard, Jack, Tim (Mars), Sam Nigro, Sara, Rebecca Nigro and Kimberly Gilmore (Joe); her sisters, Helen Tucker (Harry) and Josephine Kavanagh; her sister-in-law Agnes Nigro; and her family Dorothy Nigro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as extended family and countless friends.
