He is survived by: his wife Hope Pepe; his children, Charles, Jr. (Janine) of Staten Island, Lisa van Horne (Paul Miller) of Newton, MA and Nicole Clark (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Charles III, William (Gregory Pepe), Garrett (Griffin van Horne) and Olivia (Cole Clark).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House.
