He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marjorie Slack Holt and James Thomas Holt; his wife Ann; his children, John Matthew Holt (Megan), Rebecca Gorman (Robert) and Sara Rude (Peter); his grandchildren, Justin Holt (Tatiana), Cortney Pollara (Magnus), John Engelmann, Katie Rude and Peter Rude; his great grandchildren, Magnus and Anthony Pollara; and his siblings, James Holt Jr. and Nancy Holt Ruprecht.
