We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2022, at the age of 84, David Douglas Smits of Clinton, New Jersey, born in Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Smits and Goldie Smits (Romang); and his grandson Tommy Ryan Devlin. He is survived by: his sister Barbara Smits; his wife Patricia Garity Smits; his children, Jonathan (Sarah), Susan and Beth; his grandchildren, Jake Elliott, Michael, Andrew Smits and Megan Lako; and his son Dylan Caldwell.
