He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Brandenburg and Mary Brandenburg; and his son Eric Brandenburg. He is survived by: his wife Constance Brandenburg; and his daughters, Karen D'Arcy and Lisa Tinnesz. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
