He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wells and Adabelle Wells (Roche); and his brother John E. Wells. He is survived by: his wife Janet M. (Slezsak); his daughters, Victoria Hollis (Joseph) of Clifton, Lesley Bourdette (Michael) of Lake Hiawatha and Shannon Brand (William) of Clifton; his grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, Michael Hollis, Nicole Ploth, Christopher Herrmann, Kaitlyn Bourdette and Rebecca Rhodes; his great grandchild Gianna Ploth; and his niece Andrea Bratis.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allwood Funeral Home (660 Allwood Rd, Clifton, NJ 07012). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery (200 McLean Blvd, Paterson, NJ 07504).
Memorial donations to St. Peter's Episcopal Church or to St. Peter's Haven will be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
