It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter N. Pruiksma in Clifton, New Jersey, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Theodore Pruiksma and Jessie Pruiksma; his wife Claire; his son Ronald; his daughter-in-law Carol; his sons, Walt (Laurie) of Sheldon and Rick (Pat) of Wall Township; his grandchildren, Erin Whitcanack (Jay) of Sheldon, Katie Morris (Levi) of Spencer, Kristi Freeswick (Christopher) of Budd Lake, Kimberly Theiler (Shawn) of Rockaway, Allison Tencza (Andrew) of Newton, Jessica Barring (Kyle) of Huntington, RJ Pruiksma (Kat) of Bradley Beach and Ryan Pruiksma (Olivia); and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Parker Whitcanack, Blake, Collins Morris, Emma, Riley Freeswick, Aubrey, Madilyn Theiler, Andrew Tencza, Pierson and Kennedy Barring. He was also cherished by three sons.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Walter's name to be given to The Good Shepherd Mission, 336 Broadway, Paterson, NJ 07501.
