He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pekaar and Phyllis Pekaar; and his siblings, William and Rosemary. He is survived by: his wife Karen Pekaar; his children, Andrea Pekaar of Sparta and Stephen; and his daughter-in-law Catherine of Garden City, KS. He is also survived by many loving friends and family members.
