With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Hammer of Clifton, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Hammer and Susan Hammer (Kalyan); and his sister Maryann. He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Purcell); his children, Sharon Vasilopoulos (Paul), Keith (Janine) of Dawsonville, GA, Howard (Denise) of Wayne and Craig of Phoenix, AZ.; his grandchildren, Sean, Ryan, Justin and Gabrielle; and his siblings, Michael of Pottsville, PA and Ellen Sinkovich (George) of St. Clair, PA..

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Allwood Funeral Home (660 Allwood Rd, Clifton, NJ 07012). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cresthaven Memorial Park (750 Passaic Ave, Clifton, NJ 07012).

In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
