Sophie V. (Fortuna) McArdle Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sophie V. (Fortuna) McArdle of Clifton, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Fortuna and Agnes Fortuna (Maslanka); her husband James M. McArdle; her siblings, Edmund, Leo Fortuna, Mary Wyzykowski, Cecilia Hakowski and Natalie Tassey; and her grandson Robert McArdle.
She is survived by: her children, James B. McArdle (Mary), Kathleen McArdle (Stephen Hayes) and Barbara McArdle-Walker; her grandchildren, Patrick McArdle, Andrew McArdle (Emily), Christopher Walker (Mae) and Jennifer Walker; and her great grandchildren, Louise and James.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
