He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Pulaski and Zigmont Yundzel; and his wife Edna Hornstra Yundzel. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kimberly Goerlich (David Jr.), Cynthia Joskowiak (Robert) and Charles Mitchell Jr. (Lori); and his great grandchildren, Kathryn, Alex, Colemann, Carly, Christian, Adelle, Devon and Kyra.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
