He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Smith and Emma Smith; and his siblings, Donald Smith, Elmer Van Gelden and Eleanor Gillen.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl Smith; his children, Robert Smith, Jr. of Boca Raton, FL and Sharon Cortina of Stuart, FL; and his brother William Smith of Coconut Creek, FL. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
