He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leroy Harlan Schmitt and Mamie Irby Black; his wife Rhonda (Honeg); his children, Mindy Schmitt (Jana) of Chester, NJ, Michael Schmitt (Shannon) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Emily Schmitt of Verona, NJ and Eric Schmitt of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Charlie, Lucas, Benjamin and Cooper; and his brother Thomas Schmitt (Holly) of Peoria, IL. He was also cherished by many extended family members and friends.
