He is survived by: his wife Maatje "Mikki" Epperlein of Clifton; his children, Jennifer Epperlein Ngo (Alexander) of Summit and John Epperlein (Andrea) of Haledon; and his grandchildren, Charlotte, Merel and Aaron.
