He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Kros and Cornelia Kros; and his sisters, Gertrude Papp, Marjorie Kros, Cornelia Galloway and Nellie Dickenman.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette of Clifton; his children, John Kros (Pati Murphy) of Clifton, Corinne Hook (Roy) of Hawthorne, Marcia Sinke (David) of Brant County, Ontario DeBel and Ellen DeBel (Rick) of Lincoln Park; his grandchildren, Rebecca Becicka, Rachel Hook, Sara Hook, Elisabeth Tanis (Joel), Thomas Hook (Lauren), James Hook, Joanna Hook, Arie Sinke, Ian Sinke, Matthew Sinke, Grace Sinke, William Sinke, Gareth Sinke, Lowell Sinke, Ruth Sinke, Emily DeBel, Abigail DeBel, Lydia DeBel, Caroline DeBel, Annelise DeBel and Benjamin DeBel; and his great grandchildren, Noah Tanis, Charlotte Tanis and Eleanor Tanis. He is also survived by five children.
