He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Susan Vivona (Dino), Francine Jaeschke and Richard Meckler (Jill); his grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer Sbarbaro, Rachel, Andrew McAllister, Victoria, Gregory Hackbarth, Kyla Jaeschke, Dianna Jaeschke, Ryan, Amanda Meckler, Brendan, Autumn Meckler, Rosemary Meckler and Jordan Brannigan; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Michael Jr., Eli and Liam.

In leu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Norman's name to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
