It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy L. Young of Clifton, New Jersey, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Nancy L. had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Nancy L. may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Banta and Lenetta Banta (Cook); her husband Gerald; and her siblings, Shirley Walker and Ronald Banta.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald of West Milford, Brian (Judy) of Pequannock, Gary (Erica) of Villas and Sharon Degg (England) of Bristol; and her grandchildren, Julia Rose, Zachary and Saffron.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Episcopal Church (380 Clifton Ave, Clifton, NJ 07011). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
