He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia Diaz and Manuel Aguiar; and his brother Jose Aguiar. He is survived by: his wife Olga Aguiar; his daughters, Sara Estupinan and Beatriz Aguiar; his sons-in-law, Gilberto and Eduardo; his grandchildren, Gilberto, Kristina and Diego; and his sister-in-law Marta Aguiar. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
