He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred A. Steele and Louis C. Steele; his siblings, Joyce Montelbano, Troy Steele, Jaqueline Sonnabend and Beverly A. Steele; and his nephew Robert Sonnabend.
He is survived by: his fiancée Anna Lee Britt; his children, Andrew Steele and Angela Steele; his brother Timothy L. Steele; and his nieces and nephews, Tammy Abboud, Jamie Steele, James Abboud, Shawn Sonnabend, Tim Steele and Christopher Sonnabend.
