John R. Sokol Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Sokol of Clifton, New Jersey, born in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sokol and Helen Sokol; his siblings, Steven Sokol (Barbara) and Eleanor Abate; and his niece Kory.
He is survived by: his wife Francine Sokol of Clifton; his children, John L. Sokol of San Jose, CA, Robert John Sokol of Denver, CO and Erica McGuirk (Mark) of Livingston, NJ; his grandchildren, John Arthur, Will, Nikola, William, Alex Sokol, Liam and Ciara McGuirk; and also, Renee and Purnima.
