It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Simms (Clifton, New Jersey), who passed away on July 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Simms Sr. and Annie Lucille Brown Simms; and his siblings, Oscar Jr., Leroy, William, Terrance Simms and Catherine Scott.
He is survived by: his siblings, Alice Coleman and Norman Frank Simms (Elvira) of Quitman, GA; his goddaughter Veronica Ellerbee of Paterson; his nephew Kevin Coleman; and also, Ora Jane Bell of Paterson, NJ, Quinto Fisher, Joshua Armstrong, Barak Hart of Paterson and Julie Rey. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
