She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Brower Sr.; her close friend Jack Salmeri; her parents, Marinus Hoogerhyde and Casper Hopper; and her brother William Hopper.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Richard Hagen), Joe (Chris Brower), Beth (Rudy Betancourt) and John (Nancy Brower); her grandchildren, Paul, Justin, Beth, Jacquan, Joseph, Andrea, Jacqueline, Christopher, Katelyn, Michael, Katie, Thomas, JD, Christina, Jason, Jaclyn, Andrew and Kristen; and her great grandchildren, Julianna, Benjamin, Joseph, Ava, Victoria, Willa, Arthur and Johnny.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Valley Hospice in Irene's memory would be greatly appreciated.
