He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marina; his daughters, Nelly Benjumea (Antonio) and Maria Pezo; his grandchildren, Adrian, Kevin, Alexander Benjumea and Adriell Mercado; and his siblings, Carmen Lidia (Jorge Tovar), Elba Pezo (Gilberto Yasila), Gladys Pezo, Fernandez (Sergio), Carlos Pezo, Martin Pezo (Norma), Hallder Pezo (Ellen), Leonardo Pezo (Rosa) and Manuela Pezo. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
