George J. Homcy Obituary
The memory of George J. Homcy of Woodland Park, New Jersey, who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elaine Andrusin; and his children, Jane Homcy Merenda, Alan Homcy, Paul Homcy (April) and Jill Homcy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home (1313 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013). A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul RC Church (124 Union Ave, Clifton, NJ 07011). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (712 Grove St, Montclair, NJ 07043).
