He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Ann (Dittrich); and his sibling Konrad. He is survived by: his child Gail Ruis of Bayville; his grandchildren, Matthew (Denisse) and Shauna Ruis; and his daughter-in-law Barbara of Clifton.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or Wounded Soldiers in memory of Garry would be greatly appreciated.
