Frank Dara Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Dara of Clifton, New Jersey, who passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank Dara to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dara and Mary Dara (Cicio); and his brothers, Michael and Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth of Clifton; his son Frank III; his daughter-in-law Darlene Dara of Georgia; his daughter Dyan Zinzi; his son-in-law Rich Van Tassel of Montville; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dara, Konnor Dara and Dean Zinzi; and his sister Concetta Milanese of Clifton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allwood Funeral Home (660 Allwood Rd, Clifton, NJ 07012). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle RC Church (797 Valley Rd, Clifton, NJ 07013). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (712 Grove St, Montclair, NJ 07043).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to a Shar-Pei rescue where Frank and Elizabeth saved 4 of their Shar-Pei dogs.
