She was predeceased by: her son Bart Mastropole; and her grandson Ramon Torres. She is survived by: her children, Peter Verile of Sussex, Donna Rivera of Haledon, Georgeann Titus of Paterson, Fayanna Mastropole of Sussex and Debra Jimenez of Totowa; and her grandchildren, Jessica Lucero, Danielle Verile, Sara Ruiz, Pedro "Macho" Maldonado, Dana Bazo, Douglas Jimenez, Vanessa Jimenez, Pedro Maldonado and Makayla Shearin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many friends.

“Donna, Peter, Fayanna and family, Faye's incredible heart and strength live on in you; her memory, her incredible generosity live on in my heart. From the time I was 8 years old, Faye never said no when she was asked to take me in. She is now with those who have gone before her, but she will always be alive in every memory we have of her. Please know that I would dearly love to give you all a hug and tell you that the Lord has her in His loving hands. Sandy (Campbell) Turpin”
