She was predeceased by: her parents, John Polyniak and Elsie Polyniak (Mayer); and her sister Virginia Le Pree. She is survived by: her husband William Houthuysen; her son Darren; her wife Jasmin Brodie of Brick; her grandchildren, Alexa Brodie, Kelsey Brodie, Sydney Brodie, Samantha Brodie and John Brodie; and also David Brodie (Liz) of Aberdeen. She is also survived by sister, Lois La More of Bayville and by several nieces and nephews.
