With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecile Ann Van Winkle (Clifton, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 5, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, James and John Hayes. She is survived by: her children, Theresa (DiFabrizo), Mary (Pickett) and Dan Bay; her siblings, Kathleen (Horohoe) and Terry Hayes; her children-in-law, Lea (Charlie), Stella (Harry) and Jeffrey Degnan; her grandchildren, Nicholas Van Winkle (Carly), Kaitlyn Degnan and Kevin Degnan; and also, Peggy, Patricia and Mary.
True to form, one of her last requests is that in lieu of flowers, she wanted donations to be made to the Dominican Sisters of Hope, 299 North Highland Avenue, Ossining, NY 10562.
