She was predeceased by: her husband Stanislaw Josef Silka; and her sister Maria Liznick. She is survived by: her close friend River; her daughters, Alicja Kosecki (Jerzy) and Ewa Silka-Sozanska; her grandchildren, Margaret Dziadosz (Blake Kabnick), Oscar Kosecki, Adam Kosecki, Anna Wojnar (Tomasz) and Barbara Sozanska; her great grandchildren, Aleksandra Balwina Wojnar, River Henryk Dziadosz and Hubert Wojnar; her siblings, Fryderyka Hul, Wladyslawa Lachcik, Teresa Gryzwacz and Antoni 'Tesiu Ciesla; and her friend Lydia Banek. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
