She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Scalera and John Scalera; and her brother Dominic Scalera. She is survived by: her husband Peter Salerno; her children, John, Susan Salerno and Roseann Neczepir (Rob Miller); her sisters, Elvira Duvall and Geraldine Scalera; her grandchildren, Darciann Guarino (Michael), Paulie Neczepir (Clarissa), Amanda Salerno, Matthew Salerno and Julia Salerno; and her great grandchild Michael "Mikey" Guarino, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allwood Funeral Home (660 Allwood Rd, Clifton, NJ 07012). A prayer was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church (400 Mt Prospect Ave, Clifton, NJ 07012). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Cemetery (2 Terrace Ave, Lodi, NJ 07644).
