He was predeceased by: his parents, Vitaliano Chiarella and Maria Tavano-Chiarella; his wife Concetta Valeo; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Carmela Valeo and Mario Chiarella.
He is survived by: his son Vitaliano; his daughter-in-law Christina; his granddaughters, Lisa Chiarella and Nicole Chiarella-Michalek (Daniel); and his brother Dominic (Gloria Chiarella).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made in Anthony's name to the National Aphasia Association or to the American Stroke Association.
