“Tony quickly became a friend when he started cycling with my club. If not traveling he would join me on my weekly led rides. He could draw upon his life experiences to elicit a chuckle or belly laugh from those listening. Under his mildly kempt handlebar mustache was an infectious smile, if you looked closely. Tony’s strength on a bike, for a 68 year old cyclist, became well known to many of us as he would almost take flight up the hills. I’ll miss the friendly smile from under the mustache.”
