She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Rosaria and Salvatore; her husband Joseph Giaconia; her brother Joseph Giordano (Frances); her son Salvatore; her siblings, Nunziata (Giuseppe), Salvatrice (Paul) and Concetta; and her sisters-in-law, Josephine (Domenick) and Maria Santa (Louis).
She is survived by: her children, Bart Giaconia (Elsa), John Giaconia (Karen), Anthony Giaconia (Denise), Mary Corradino (late Peter), Sarina Whritenour (Ken) and Salvatrice Verillo (Fred); her grandchildren, Gina Karlicki (Alex), Lisa Smith (Doug), Katie Glynn (Patrick), Anthony Giaconia (Jennifer), Anna Maria Niskach (Thomas), Bart C. Giaconia (Aimee), Joseph Giaconia (Colleen), John J. Giaconia, Ralph Danna III (Stephanie), Daniella Reiter, Keirstan Nevin (Brian), Laura South (Gil), Sean Kennedy (JessieLyn) and Frederick Verillo; and her great grandchildren, Patrick, Madeline, Ava, Benjamin, Alexis, Augustus, Ralph, Nathan, Gabriella, Randy, Joseph, Isabella, Richard Jr., Gianna, Luca, Emily, Riley, Lyric, Wyatt, Hudson and Emilia. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel (470 Colfax Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Paul RC Church (124 Union Ave, Clifton, NJ 07011). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (58 McLean Blvd, Paterson, NJ 07513).
