He was predeceased by: his parents, Panayiotis and Marigo; his sister Demetra; his brother-in-law Leonidas; his nephew Peter Tsambiras; and his siblings-in-law, John Orfanakos, Demetrios Orfanakos and Presbytera Margaret Orfanakos.
He is survived by: his wife Kalliope; his daughters, Maria Alexiades (Nickitas), Harriet Panagakis (Spiros) and Konstantina Papadakos; his grandchildren, Nicole, Kelly, George, Nicholas, Stephanie, Kaitlyn, Christina and Alexa; his great grandchild Lucas; and his friends, Vasilis Tsitsanis and Georgos Mitsakis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church or to the Alzheimer's Disease Research in Alkis' memory.
